What location do you host?
Paddington in Brisbane. I host at Roma St Parklands. It is nice and central while being quiet enough to talk.
How did you find out about Mr. Perfect?
Through Facebook. I had recently resigned from my job and was feeling a bit rudderless while I was looking for the right business to work for. I liked the idea of a space where guys can come and just have a chat.
Why did you want to get involved?
I liked the idea of offering a space where someone having a bit of a shitty time can just come for a chat with no judgement or expectation.
Favourite memory of a Meetup BBQ?
Having someone turn up after a few months of running the Mr. Perfect BBQ with just myself! The perseverance paid off.
One piece of advice to a person debating whether to come along to a BBQ?
Come along. I am there anyway, no matter what, so come for a chat and if you like it come back. You are always welcome.
