At Mr Perfect, we believe in leading by example and our CEO, John Mooney, is doing just that. This year, John is lacing up his trail runners and taking on the Ultra-Trail Australia 50km (UTA50) to raise funds & awareness for men’s mental health.
The UTA50 is no ordinary race. It’s one of the most challenging and scenic ultra-marathons in the country, winding through the rugged trails of the Blue Mountains. With 2,500m of elevation gain, steep climbs, and breathtaking views, it’s a true test of endurance, both physically and mentally.
For John, the challenge represents more than just a personal goal. It’s a way to raise awareness about the struggles many men face and highlight the importance of connection, community and open conversations.
Mr Perfect is all about creating safe spaces where men can talk, connect, and support each other over a simple BBQ. But to keep these events running and to expand our reach we rely on community support.
By running UTA50, John hopes to:
