John is an accomplished leader with 25 years of lived commercial experience gained across all levels of the private, public and corporate sectors. John’s centred and strategic thinking abilities coupled with a disciplined action-based approach enables collaboration and trust in the pursuit of the best possible outcomes. John is also a Lawyer.
As the CEO of Mr Perfect, John will be focused on driving growth and innovation, while maintaining a strong commitment to corporate responsibility and sustainability.

Lawrence comes armed with an impressive career including 27 years with Westpac in UK and Europe, Middle East, Papua New Guinea, and Australia and 20 years managing various professional services firms such as commercial law accounting.
Add to that experience as a business owner in Executive Search, Fellowships held previously with AICD, AITD, AIM, FINSIA and a graduate of the AICD, Lawrence is currently working as a coach helping small business owners dealing with mental health challenges.
Volunteering has always been important to him, having been a personal support officer with Red Cross for over 10 years, and comes with Chair credentials such as holding this position at Camp Breakaway Inc, a respite care centre for the disabled, and at Business Blue Mountains.
Geoff Missen has been a Gold Coast business owner for 25 years. He is a Fellow of the Institute of the Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand, a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, a CAANZ Business Valuation Specialist and a CAANZ Forensic Accounting Specialist, with three decades in public practice.
Specialising in business advisory, Geoff is an active board member, serving on several boards in the public, private and not-for-profit sectors.
Having moved to the Gold Coast from Melbourne in 1997, Geoff has actively embedded himself and his business in his local community, and is passionate about supporting initiatives that promote positive change and supporting mens health.
Sandhya has 24 years experience in wealth management, working across multiple disciplines from
advice to professional development, product and operations. For over a decade, Sandhya has held
senior positions at several major financial institutions, and is known for her kind and compassionate
leadership style.
She regularly participates in industry forums to promote gender equity and multicultural diversity,
and is an active member of several Employee Resource Groups (ERGs).
John is a creative marketing professional with over 25 years’ experience in both marketing and brand management. He holds a Master of Management (Marketing) with from MGSM and a Bachelor of Design from UTS. As the Director of giro+partners, John has demonstrated his ability to provide strategic, creative, and cost-effective marketing solutions that build sustainable businesses for his clients and their brands.
John has served on various advisory boards, including the Cancer Council’s SMART Marketing Advisory Team and the National Heart Foundation’s Expert Marketing Advisory Group. He also has direct knowledge of services provided by many mental health providers and programs. With a proven track record in driving business growth and a passion for community engagement, John is an invaluable asset in the not-for-profit sector.
Dan brings both lived experience and professional expertise to the role, with a strong commitment to community connection and mental health awareness. A former host of a regional Mr Perfect BBQ, he is an AHPRA-registered paramedic with more than 20 years of experience and currently works with NSW Ambulance.
Daniel also serves as Co-Chair of the Western NSW Local Health District’s Towards Zero Suicide initiative and is a member of its co-design team. His community work includes helping establish the first Safe Haven Café in regional NSW and founding the Parkes Men’s Walk and Talk program, continuing to make a lasting impact on mental health outcomes across regional communities.
Robert’s journey with Mr. Perfect began as a Mr. Perfect BBQ Host on the NSW Central Coast, where he saw firsthand the impact of creating safe, welcoming spaces for men to connect, share, and support one another. His passion for our mission has continued to grow, and we’re excited to welcome him into this new leadership role.
A respected social impact leader, disability employment advocate, and community champion, Robert is the Head of Supported Employment at Lasercraft Australia, where he creates meaningful employment opportunities for people with disability. With decades of business leadership experience and a strong commitment to community, mental health, and inclusion, Robert brings a wealth of knowledge from his work in volunteering, governance, mentoring, and advocacy. As Executive Producer of the 10 Lessons Learned podcast, he continues to share inspiring stories and insights that help create positive change..
